Seen at Volgren's Dandenong factory in October 2025 was this pair of Optimus bodied Scania K230EB electric buses, nearly ready to head to Adelaide. Alongside is an electric bus for Dysons, 1394 (BS15AZ) but this is on a BYD BC12B1 chassis.

The previous year a pair of Foton FTH12 Hydrogen City Buses, 1788 (XS97HB) and 1789 (XS98HB) were delivered. They are see at Morphetville depot in January 2026, noticeably not in service.

Behind the Fotons were several of the new Scania K230EB electrics at the newly installed charging stations with 5807 (XS52KR) and 5804 (XS50KR) to the fore.

Hiding behind 5804, and facing the other way, was 5808 (XS13KR).

Here is 5805 (XS39KQ). Obviously the electric buses are an innovation, but the infrastructure round the charging stations seems very ad hoc with the red barriers and other paraphenalia dotted around. Doubtless the pair of buses seen at Dandenong in October could be amongst these new Morphetville residents.
