Liveried for the associated Yarra Tour Wine Tours operation - you can see the name on the C222TX above - is Autobus bodied Scania K124IB 48 (7848AO). Seen in the East Melbourne suburbs in Decemeber 2012 the 2002 coach was acquired from Hopkinsons where it had rego TV330 around 2011, but they acquired it from Ogdens of Mudgee in 2008. |

Joining 16 at the 2014 HCVC Show, held for the first time at Yarra Glen Racecourse, was another Volgren bodied bus from the fleet, 29 (0029AO), an Isuzu LT1-11P which was up for sale. Indeed its windscreen displayed several other fleet members for sale on the disposal list.

Awaiting its party in Melbourne's Arts Precinct in April 2021 was three year old Volgren Endura bodied Volvo B8R 14 (0014AO). Note one of the cute animated and illuminated bird silhouettes which inhabit the precinct.

The modern bus fleet has foresaken Volgren bodies primarily for Express, for all six in this line. Volvo has had to share the Martyr patronage with Scania, with half of these being K310UB models. First up is 25 (0025AO) a 2007 B12BLE, then Scania 52 (9452AO) of 2013. Then Scania 26 (0026AO) of 2016 followed by Volvos 50 and 51 (7850/1AO) of 2011, but 50 is a B12BLE whilst 51 is a B7RLE, On the end is 24 (0024AO) twin to 25.

Facing the line of Express bodied Volvos and Scanias was a line of coaches and semi-coaches, an early example of the latter was 2003 olds style Volgren SC222 bodied Volvo B7R 41 (0041AO).

Scania chassis have figured for the semi-coaches with two year old 20 (0020AO) sporting a Malaysian built Volgren Endura body.

This older pair of Scanias, 625 and 614 (6625/14AO) date from 2014 and also sport Endura bodies built in Malaysia. Volgren uses their Malaysian factory to build vehicles for stock and they are often finished to a customer's requirement at the Dandenong plant.

In late 2022 Martyrs took delivery of their first hybrid bus, a Volgren Optimus bodied Scania K320UB.

The only other Optimus in the fleet in March 2024 was early 2021 Scania K310UB 27 (0027AO). The two Optimuses (Optimi?) were matched by two Express bodied buses in the fleet which also wore PTV livery.

Transferred in from Warragul Bus Lines was AB Denning Galaxy bodied Volvo B12B 45 (7545AO) which as one time belonged to Australia Wide Coaches where it was 201 (TV3506).

It had only been gone a short while and Express bodied Scania K310UB 54 (8054AO) of 2015 had already bagged 35's parking spot!

The beautiful glen-like setting is not without its problems. The tall trees behind the coach line up above was bigger, but a recent storm brought one crashing down on 2015 Irizar i6 bodied Scania K360EB 38 (0038AO). Sadly the coach had to be written off.

Finally the depot "boasted" one of the ubiquitous Transperth Volgren CR225L bodied Mercedes O405NH buses. Dating from 2000 the bus was 1742 (TP1742) in Perth being sold in 2020 to Sandlant its permanent blind for the Stawell town service. Its life as Martyrs 29 (0029AO) aooears to have been a short one.
