Seen in Auckland in April 2000 is Designline bodied Volvo B12RT 122 (SD4865) new in 1993 to Kiwi Experience as 122. It had two subsequent registrations: JCL02 and CRK386 being sold later to Taxis United in Takanini where it survived till 2022.

This 1999 Volvo B12RT, 1229 (JCL29) was bodied by Fairfax. It is seen in St George Street, Dunedin in April 2005.

More angular Coachwork Auckland bodywork was fitted to this B11RT, 1213 (JCL13) also seen on the South Island that April. It was another new to Kiwi Experience as TP9501 in 1993. It was later sold to Torlesse Travel of Darfield with registraion EHB897.

Across to Auckland and outside the Sky City Hotel and coach terminal in April 2005 was Coach Design bodied Volvo B12RT 1238 (JCL38) new in 2001 with registration AHZ513. It left the fleet in 2014 with registration GQW190 to join Northern Highland Travel of Thornton in NSW with rego TV7501. It is seen wearing APT contract livery. |

Another Johnston's contract livery was for Contiki Holidays. Those colours were seen on Coach Design bodied B12RT 1249 (JCL49) new in 2003 with registration BNA666. It was also in Queenstown and was later transferred to Nakedbus. |

A stunning Queenstown backdrop to Coachwork Auckland bodied B12RT 1214 (JCL14) which was another new to Kiwi Experience as TP9517 in 1993. It was later sold, registered ERJ635, to Tinto Bus in Dunedin. |
Coaches are gathered for morning tour departures outside Queenstown's Crowne Plaza Hotel. Foremost in 1219 (JCL19), a Designline bodied B12RT. It arrived in 1995 as TR1655 and left for Kiwi Coach Charters of Mangere Bridge in Auckland, ironically at some stage Johnstons had it painted in Kiwi Experience colours. |
Two more coaches outside the Crowne Plaza. Nearer the camera is 1215 (JCL15) another Desigline bodied B12RT new in 1995 to Kiwi Experience with registration TR1655. It was sold on to Absolute Aotearoa of Taupo, by which time it was registered ERJ637. |
The second coach with 1215 was 123 (JCL03) new in 1993 to Kiwi Experience registered SD4502. It left the fleet with registration DKT274. |
Back to Sky City in Auckland in April 2008 for another APT contracted coach, 1231 (JCL31), a 2000 Coach Design bodied B12RT new with registration ZN2271. It was sold to South West Coach Lines (Veolia) in Bunbury, Western Australia. |

Another brand - "Journeys of Distinction". This Coach Design bodied Volvo B12B, 1251 (JCL51) was new in 2003 registered BNU920 and is seen in Auckland in April 2008. It was later transferred to Nakedbus. |

In Auckland in February 2020 similar coach J2735 (FLZ496) has a further revised livery, simplified by the absence of white stripes on the navy skirt. Interestingly this 2010 vehicle was acquired seconhand from Central Motorways of Alexandra.
