John Brenson's Tiger TS7, North Western 380 (JA 5515), basks in the sunshine at Showbus 97. The vehicle has Windover bodywork, which was widely popular in the immediate post-war period. TS7s were no longer made in 1950, when this 1937 Tiger chassis was rebodied. The Model has also been captured by EFE in their excellent series of models. |
This 1996 Northern Counties bodied Olympian 304 (N304CLV) journeyed down from Merseyside (Southport) to join the display at Showbus 97. Part of the Mersey based MTL fleet, it is one of a recent batch of Olympian deckers, replacing the once large fleet of Atlanteans in that area. Singledeckers have featured more in recent deliveries to the area. |
