Thanks to Nidhi Sharma in Sydney for this week's picture of Sydney Buses Custom Citaro bodied Mercedes O405NH. The bus was delivered in 1999 and intended to be 1108 (MO1108) but was chosen as the bus to promote the 2000 Olympic games in the city. It appeared as 2000 (MO2000) in a wrap similar to the one captured by Nidhi, the bus being chosen to don the wrap again to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the successful games. After the Olympics is briefly reverted to MO1108, but became MO2000 before the year was out. It gained its current 2000ST rego in 2010 but has been in fleet livery for the last twenty years. When the bus retires in the near future it will be presented to Sydney Bus Museum.
