Irizar coaches in Flixbus green are a common sight, but not so common in Australia. The company launched two services late last year. Thanks to Nidhi Sharma in Sydney for capturing our first Aussie Flixbus. It is on the regular service to Canberra and operated on Flixbus' behalf by Deanes Coaches in the ACT. It competes with Murrays long established Canberra red carpet service. The new Irizar is i6S bodied Volvo B13RT (TV182C). The other Flixbus service is to Melbourne operated by Donric's Sunbury Coaches in competition with Firefly Express, because of the distance the service is twice a day, a day run and an overnight run. The new services have prompted fare cuts from both existing operators. Further Australian Flixbus routes are awaited.
