Believed to be the only hydrogen fuel cell bus working in Australia, 9730MO is on trial with the Red Bus Service from The Entrance on New South Wales' Central Coast. Wrapped in the "Breathe Easy" colours like many of the electric buses in Sydney the bus also sports a Gemilang body like many Sydney electrics. Underneath the body, the vehicle is the first bus built by ARCC (Aluminium Revolutionary Chassis Company) based in NSW and was completed in February. It si seen leaving the company's expansive premises to take up service on Friday this week. The ARCC is not the first hyrogen powered bus to run in the country as Transperth participated in the European initial deployment of Mercedes Citaro based fuel cell buses back in 2004, one of which is now preserved at Whiteman Park by the Bus Preservation Society of WA.
