The pandemic has created a lot of anniversary problems. Red Rose Travel of Aylesbury had plans to celebrate their 30th anniversary, but only now have the plans come to fruition with East Lancs Spryte bodied Dennis Dart SLF, Y359LCK. The Dart was one of a pair bought new in 2001 primarily for service in Watford. This is not the livery they wore back then, but a version of the original Red Rose, copying the final style used by the late lamented Red Rover, but using the companies current Khan Red and Chrome Yellow colours. Work still needs to be done before it is ready for the road, but it is intended that the bus will be coming to SHOWBUS in September. The original anniversary plan was to treat sister Y358LCK the same, but the bus is currently laid up at the yard in Stone with a question mark over its future. Thanks to Pete Brown for the photo.
