Matt Buytaert concluded his trip to Laos with a night in Bangkok, so we feature his picture of Hino AK176 4-40529 at work in the city. These buses have served Bangkok for many years, though newer air conditioned buses, painted orange, are also operated by the BMTA (Bangkok Mass Transit Authority), but charge around three times the fare. Several other liveries and ownerships were in evidence in the congested city.
