The Lynx Effect! Based in Norwich for a few days I sampled the delights of the North Nofolk coast. A smart Wright bodied Volvo B5TL of Sanders Services, SA71SAN, took me to Cromer where I boarded one of their new Egyptian MCV EvoRa bodied Volvo B8RLE singledeck buses to Wells-next-the-Sea. After a break in Wells one of Lynx's pair of Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC luxury doubledeckers arrived for the two hour journey to Kings Lynn. The views from the EvoRa were good, but from the top deck of 61 (SK21FNG) even better. The interior of this bus was exceptional, the top deck featuring skylights, seats grouped around tables and a rich colour scheme, as illustrated in the picture below. The picture above of 21 sees it arrviving in Wells before continuing south to Hunstanton and back, which it accomplished in around an hour, returning to do the coastal run to Kings Lynn. From there I used the excellent First Eastern Counties "excel" branded service, the C variant making a fast return to Norwich.
