Whilst hundreds of electric buses are plying the streets of London the West Midlands is catching up with National Express West Midlands pledges to buy no more diese; buses. Things kick started with a batch of BYD DD buses with Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV bodies working in both Birmingham and Coventry. This is National Express Coventry EO29 (LD20PUJ) at work in the city route branded for the 9 and 9A and boasting its power source with numerous lightning flashes.
