This year's Official Photographer, Gary Seamarks, took the customary shots of buses arriving at the Showground for SHOWBUS5O but also took a number of shots of the display. We made a special feature of the two former Southend Transport vehicles attending and fortunately they both turned up, otherwise Ensign's preserved Van Hool Astromege would have looked a little odd on the end of a line of London Routemasters. Former Southend 122 (VLT44), RM44 joined 245 (JEV245Y) to also celebrate Ensign's half century.
