Last weekend was the Amersham & District Motorbus Society's Spring High Wycombe Running Day and thanks to Pete Brown for this picture of London Country Leyland National SNB449 (YYL449T). The well turned out bus sports full Post-MAP National Bus Company livery with Chilternlink branding. High Wycombe was a "border town" hosting depots for both London Country and Alder Valley which is why the Chilternlink logo incorporates both green and red colours. The town is still a shared operational area between Arriva the Shires and Carousel Buses plus subtantial operations from the Red Group: Red Eagle, Redline and Red Rose.
