On a beautiful Autumn day when fall colours were in full flood former RM1221 (221CLT) was seen at Niagara Falls Bus Station. The bus was exported to Canada in 1990, saw service with London Picadilly Buses of Tottenham in Ontario, being used on the South Simcoe Steam Railway park and ride. Ironically the bus worked out of Tottenham depot for its last 22 years with London Transport. When seen in October 2014 RM1221 had established itself as 23 in the large Routemaster fleet of Double Deck Tours.

Late October is off season for the Falls and the only other Double Deck Tours Routemaster in evidence was 19 (BK2 733), former RM1102 (102CLT). It is not known when it arrived in Canada, but after withdrawal it was used by Ensigbus on their London Pride tours for two years.
