 The Bayline RE arrived with former Northern General AEC-Park Royal RMF Routemaster 2101 (RCN701) disguised as RMF2771 (EYY766B). The group owning the bus were attempting to raise funds to travel across Europe and Asia to Japan.

 A trio of buses lined up at Ritchies' Albany depot in April 2008. On the left is a 1997 Designline bodied Dennis Dart ex RedBus 306 (WG8743), Ritchies 474. In the middle is 1990 Mitsubishi Fuso 82 (CMZ470) imported secondhand from Japan, as was Nissan Diesel 606 (YY6658) on the right, ten years its junior. |

 Uzabus acquired some of RedBus' early Designline bodied MAN 10.160 buses. Seen at work in November 2017 in Palmerston North was 533 (XD7442), former 335 of 1998.
