 In May 2017 PostBus ordered nineteen tailored Alexander Dennis Enviro500MMC doubledeckers to replace their Neoplan Centroliners on routes in the east of the country. This was the first European order for the model, which had already sold extensively in America, the Far East and New Zealand. The buses were delivered over several months so in August 2018 St Gallen was visited to see those so far delivered in action. Sadly none was seen on the first day, August 1st, as it is the Swiss National Day and bus services were much reduced from normal! So the first Enviro, 10870 (AR45268) was encountered the following day at St Gallen Station.
