 This is Flyer D900 1788 seen in the city in July 1986 demonstrating the intricate lift built into the front door to provide wheelchair access. Long before low floor kneeling buses became the order of the day this facility was built into most American buses. With the state of kerbs in some places this would still be a good option!

 Over 400 Gillig Phantoms passed through the Metro fleet, plus one hundred trolleybuses, this is diesel powered 3485 seen at SEATAC airport in August 2004 before the Sound Transit light rail link to downtown Seattle was built. The Gillig though is only providing a local link to the airport. |

 Second of one hundred New Flyer D40LF new in 2003 was 3601 seen here with the ramp in action. These were the first of the city's low floor fleet but all were retired by the end of 2020. |
