Seen downtown in July 2008 was NovaBus RTS 8979 from the batch of 600.

Passing Central Park is another of the batch 8757.

Some bus garages are hidden away, some are scruffy and some are rarely as imposing as New York City Transit's Michael J Quill Bus Depot, named in honour of one of the founders of the Transport Workers Union of America. NovaBus 5128, one of 245 delivered in 1999 is seen heading down 41st Street off 11th Avenue, the depot filling the entire block down to 12th and 40th. A multi-storey affair, it includes roof top parking!

The bright lights around Times Square form a great backdrop to TMC built 8483, one of 166 delivered in 1993.

This blurred night shot of an RTS is believed to date from 1981 when the bus would have been new. That would make it a GMC build.
