What has been dubbed a new "Walrus", the nickname given to the Q-registered Willowbrook Warrior, is this BMC 1100 acquired in 2015. The bus was in a poor state but has been thoroughly overhauled and refurbished. Still not finished, BX56XAH is seen at the depot in July and was being readied to debut at SHOWBUS. Picture ref B441 |
Here is the BMC 1100 arriving to go on display at Woburn Abbey. The bus was later pressed into service to help out on the very busy S1. It has since settled into regular use on the 275 service between High Wycombe and Oxford and is much loved by its regular driver. Picture ref 15-3246 |
