 When launched the Plaxton Elite was a revolutionary design and is still a head turner. Largely through Stagecoach subsidiaries they found their was on to National Express services alongside the ubiquitous Caetano Levantes. Seen outside Victoria Coach Station in the company of First Greyhound Irizar PB bodied Scania K14EB 23325 (YN06CGZ) on the short lived south coast operation in October 2010 is Stagecoach East Volvo B9R 53710 (AE10JTX) headed for Lincoln. |
 In April 2011 this unidentified B9R is seen on Eccleston Bridge arriving in London from Hull on the 448 followed by one of National Express' own Irizar PB bodied Scania K114IB, NXL13 (YN04GPV). |
 Later that month, Selwyn's Volvo B9R 153 (YN11AYA) is seen on layover in Victoria. |
 Stagecoach Oxford replaced Levantes on the 737 with new Volvo B9R Elites like 53702 (OU10GYJ), seen at speed on the M40 approaching High Wycombe from the east in April 2011. |
