Guy Arab 3102 (MOF102) pauses at Parking Reception at SHOWBUS 2005 to receive its welcome pack from Showbus helper, Rob Midgley, now Dr Rob Midgley.

Coming in with 3102 was one of PPH's triaxle Irizar Century bodied Scanias, K114EB YN05HCH.

An unusual purchase for a big city fleet was a batch of these Metro-Cammell bodied Leyland Tiger PS2 singledeckers. On display with other Birmingham buses at SHOWBUS in 2009, is Tiger 2245 (JOJ245) which seated only 34. It dates from 1950.

Fifteen years later and the largely doubledeck Birmingham fleet was joined by another curious batch of singledeckers in the shape of these Marshall bodied Daimler Fleetlines. There was a brief fad of bodying doubledeck rear engined chassis with singledeck bodies, particularly as the bespoke rear engined singledeckers were less than reliable (think Roadliner, Swift and Panther). Fleetline 3472 (BON472C) is seen arriving at SHOWBUS international 2010.

At SHOWBUS 2012 3472 was amongst the early arrivals and is seen in the stall area as it regularly conveys a sales stall to the gathering.
