 Ariving at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford for SHOWBUS 2010 is 12025 (OU10GFY), numerically the last of the batch of 25 Enviro400H hybrid deckers for the Oxford fleet. The doubledeckers were, jointly with purchases by City of Oxford, part of a scheme devised by Oxfordshire Council to reduce the number of buses in the city with a co-ordinated reduction in frequency and increase in individual bus capacity. Whether the scheme is appreciated by those waiting longer at bus stops is questionable. |
