welcome to the showbus picture of the week

With summer having a brief revival this week we are grateful to Graham Lelliott for this delightful picture from the famous Devils Dyke, still host to a regular service from Brighton by the successor to Southdown, Brighton & Hove. The open top Queen Mary PD3 I travelled on to visit the Dyke around fifty years ago has been replaced by a hard top Wright Streetdeck, 848 (SK67FLM) which may be ousted by a new fleet of Enviro400 buses in a new sea green livery blasting away the Brighton Hove & District red and cream heritage livery dating back to Tilling days - a bold move by Go-Ahead!
