Over 200 Alexander Dennis Enviro200s have flooded in to New Zealand in a very short space of time. The buses are everywhere in Auckland in a variety of liveries red for the Citylink, green for the Innerlink, orange for the outer link and navy for other NZ Bus city services. Plus Howick & Eastern have some in cream and brown. Sadly they are not in the individual liveries of Auckland NZ Bus subsidiaries North Star, Go West, Waka Pacific and Metrolink, the decision having been taken to abandon the liveries in favour of standardising on Metrolink's navy citywide. The Enviros have now reached the nation's capital with twenty let loose on Wellington in their vibrant yellow livery. The Enviros are assembled by bodybuilder Kiwi from the Bay of Plenty. Their normal bodies are distinguished by trademark grills full of kiwi bird shaped holes, sadly these do not appear on the Enviros. The buses do not feature rear windows, though the distinctive outline of the Enviro window is indented in the rear panel. The most visible difference on all NZ Enviros is the body colour strip gelow he destination blind. Here is 4188 (GQU11) seen in Courtney Place, Wellington on Friday on route 20 to Highbury.
