Optare vehicles are quite common place in New Zealand. MetroRiders are rarer now, but one was used on Auckland Tours until recently. Deltas and Excels, primarily from Reading, are popular, particularly with Ritchies. But now there's a low floor doubledeck Spectra, acquired from Anglian Bus - their sole example. It is seen outside the Harbour Terminal a couple of weeks ago, and those in the know will spot it is in Anglian Bus livery. A Hino alternates departures with the Spectra and it is painted in a matching yellow and blue livery.
