Arriva the Shires 3045 (IIL4822), a former Crosville Cymru National Greenway travels
from their Aylesbury Rabans Lane depot to take up service to Thame. The bus was originally a Green Line 10.3m Leyland National, SNB180 (LPB180P) and was rebuilt in 1993 for service in Wales as SNG822.

Shires 3057 (TIB4886) is another early version of the Leyland National Greenway conversion by East Lancs, based on a short wheel base National. Starting as a Green Line, SNB172 (LPB172P), unlike SNG822 its earlier life was spent soith of London and ended up with London & Country. SNG822 ended its London days with London Country North East. The vehicle's inelegance is further 'enhanced' by an all over advertisement for kitchen and bathroom tiles. The Chiltern Rover vehicle is arriving in Aylesbury on the 323 service from High Wycombe, originally a Thames Valley route which passed to the Shires after the takeover of the Motts Yellow Bus operation and rationalisation of services with City of Oxford.
|
Starting off with Crosville as SNL561 (HMA561T), becoming SNG561 with Crosville Cymru on conversion to Greenway in 1994, Shires 3053 (CAZ6852) is another all over advertisement Greenway, this time for Hazelmere Windows. The bus is on a school service in Aylesbury.
