Newport is not an obvious place for city tours but Newport operates some members of its own fleet on such a City Sightseeing tour. Alexander bodied Scania 41 (F41YHB) has been converted to open top and is seen near Newport Bus Station in May 2004. Whilst the Newport tour has ceased, Cardiff is still an option

 From the same batch of six Newport Scanias, erstwhile 45 (F45YHB) is seen at the 2003 Southsea Rally with blinds for the Southsea service. |

Former Newport Transport MCW Metrobus, 70 (DTG370V), 370 with City Sightseeing is seen in Stratford in summer 2004 with Guide Friday branding.

 Newport Scania 41 appeared at the 2016 Barry Island Rally where it is seen with preserved Cardiff Leyland Lynx 267 (J267UDW). The Scania had been a popular choice for the shuttle service between the seafront display and the island Bus Museum.

 Later the Scania was parked up next to another Cardiff bus, the preserved open top Neepsend bodied Guy Arab V, 434 (ABO434B).
